Rite Aid Deals

I ran out to Rite Aid tonight to grab some deals. I did it in 2 transactions because 2 of the items have mail-in rebates and I'll need a separate receipt for each.

Transactions #1:
$3.99: Citre Shine Gloss Gelee
$2.99: Chapstick Natural Lip Balm
$6.99: Charles Worthington Dream Hair conditioner
$30.00: Contour blood glucose monitoring system
$3.00: Kotex feminine hygiene product
$.65: Tax

Total before coupons:
$47.62

-$5 off $25 coupon when you register with Rite Aid
-$30 off glucose monitoring system (coupon from newspaper)
-$1 off Kotex (printable or from the newspaper)
-$1 off Citreshine (printable)

Total for this transaction:
$10.62

Transaction #2:
$7.99: Orajel Cole Sore Brush
$.99: Joy dishwashing liquid
$5.99: Citre Shine Hair Serum
$.60: Tax

Total before coupons:
$15.57

-$1 off Orajel (from newspaper)
-$1 off Joy (from newspaper)
-$1 off Citreshine (printable)

Total for this transaction:
$12.57

Total spent: $23.19

However, several of these items have rebates:

Mail-in Rebates from the newspaper:
$7.99: Orajel Cole Sore Brush
$2.99: Chapstick Natural Lip Balm

Rite Aid Single Check rebates:
$5.99: Citre Shine Hair Serum
$3.99: Citre Shine Gloss Gelee
$6.99: Charles Worthington Dream Hair conditioner
$3.00: Kotex feminine hygiene product

Add in 84 cents postage for the 2 separate mail-in rebates, and I made $6.92 on this venture :)

There are several other items that are free after rebate, but the store was out of them. It's best to go first thing in the morning on Sunday, but that's not possible for me since the store opens after we leave for church.

Not too shabby!

Edited to add:
I found out there's another Rite Aid about 2 miles from my house (as opposed to the one I frequent, which is 1 mile away). I'm going to have to hit them up for some more deals!
